Associate Degree

Eligibility:
The requirements for an associate degree from a EBCAS include:
      • Credits: Completing a minimum number of credits, usually 64 or 65 semester hours
      • GPA: Maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA, usually 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
      • Coursework: Completing required courses in general education, Bible and theology, and a major concentration
      • High school diploma: Submitting a high school diploma, GED, or California Proficiency Exam (CPE)
      • Additional requirements is your pastoral endorsement.

Bachelor Degree

Eligibility:
A bachelor’s degree from a EBCAS requires you to complete a minimum of 120 credit hours, including a substantial number of Bible and theology courses, general education classes, a major concentration within your chosen ministry field, and often a practical ministry internship, while maintaining a minimum GPA, and demonstrating a commitment to Christian faith and conduct as per the college’s standards.

Requirements include:
      • High school diploma or equivalent for admission
      • Minimum GPA requirement
      • Completion of a set number of credit hours in Bible and theology courses
      • Completion of a set number of credit hours in general education courses
      • Completion of a set number of credit hours in your chosen course of study

Master’s Program (MA, MTH, MDiv)

Eligibility:

      • You need a Bachelor’s degree in theology, religious studies, or a closely related discipline.
      • If your Bachelor’s degree is in a closely related field to your intended program of study, it’s encouraged to inquire with EBCAS for further clarification.

Doctoral Program (Th.D., D.Min. or equivalent)

Eligibility:
      • You need a Master’s degree in theology, religious studies, Christian education, or a closely related discipline (e.g., MA, MTH, or MDiv).
      • If your Master’s degree is in a closely related field to your intended program of study, it’s encouraged to inquire with EBCAS for further clarification.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)

Eligibility:
      • You must have a Doctor’s level degree (e.g., ThD, DMin, EdD, DMinCC or equivalent) in theology, religious studies, christian education, or a closely related discipline.
      • Additional Requirements: You must complete an additional year of doctoral study beyond your existing doctoral degree to qualify for a PhD at EBCAS.
