At Emmanuel Bible College and Seminary (EBCAS) we take into consideration the lessons you have learned in life ministry work and honor and translated those learned lessons into credits. Since you are not forced to re-learn lessons, you already know, you are free to go on to discover new truths. Your educational time and expense are decreased while your learning is increased. Your learning is deepened and validated through ongoing practice, with life itself serving as one of your greatest teachers.
The Life Ministry Credit (LMC) is designed to apply college credits towards the Degree Program of the student’s choice. This affords the student to be credited with what they have already learned. In addition, students may qualify for their degree with a minimum of course requirements.
Many pastors, ministry leaders, and church workers who have earned the right to a degree should have the opportunity to attain it. Your "Life Ministry Credits" will be applied to the Degree program you enroll in. Our mission is to support and bless those serving in ministry by providing education and equipping individuals for effective leadership and service.
Key Features of the Life Ministry Credit (LMC) Program:
Recognition of Practical Ministry Experience:
EBCAS values the lessons students have learned through life and ministry work. Instead of requiring students to relearn concepts they already know, the program offers credit for those lessons, enabling students to bypass redundant coursework.
Credit Toward Degree Requirements:
The Life Ministry Credit (LMC) can be applied to your chosen degree program, allowing you to advance more quickly and efficiently toward graduation. This means that students can focus on new learning, discovering new truths and gaining further knowledge in their area of study, without having to spend time on material they have already mastered through experience.
Reduced Educational Time and Expenses:
Since students are not required to repeat content, they've already learned in the field, the time and financial investment required to complete their degree is significantly reduced.
Tailored to Ministry Professionals:
The program is especially beneficial for pastors, ministry leaders, and church workers who have hands-on experience but may not have formal theological education. By applying Life Ministry Credits, these individuals can earn a degree while continuing their ministry work.
A Path to Degree Completion:
Students can qualify for their degree with fewer formal course requirements, which means that their Life Ministry Credits can make up a substantial part of their degree program. EBCAS aims to be a blessing to those in ministry and supports people in completing their degrees in a way that acknowledges their practical experience.
Benefits:
Acknowledges real-world ministry experience and translates it into academic credit.
Accelerates the learning process, allowing students to focus on new material rather than repeating what they already know.
Reduces both time and financial costs associated with earning a degree.
Empowers ministry leaders and church workers to earn degrees that recognize their real-life contributions.
Ideal Candidates:
This program is a great fit for people who have been actively involved in ministry, whether as pastors, church workers, missionaries, or in other roles of service, and who wish to formalize and further their education without having to start from scratch.
If you’re considering enrolling in this program, it sounds like a great opportunity to leverage your ministry experience and continue to grow both spiritually and intellectually in a way that aligns with your calling.
